I think it looks like the work of a 5 year old.
To me it doesn’t represent anything to do with the Olympics.
Bright blue, pink, green and orange??
If the aim was to get the younger generation involved in the games, then why not hold a national design competition. Surely that would have produced something that the city could be proud of.

i like your idea for a national comp and the involvement of the younger generation. if they wanted a graffitti style why not ask one of the many talented street artist to design. if a 5 yr old came up this we would ooh and ahh at the cleverness of youth
